The Republican-led House of Representatives has been without a speaker for over two weeks. As the chaos continues in Congress, brutal violence in the Middle East and Ukraine rages on. And some Republican leaders seem to think only one of them should be America’s concern.

In this audio essay, the Opinion columnist David French makes the case that if Republicans want to preserve global peace and American interests, they need to work together and support the war effort in Ukraine.
